Toujours rapidement parce que toujours dans un bar avec internet et pas dans notre chambre...
On a fait le lac Titicaca et les îles aujourd'hui : îles Uros et Taquile... Je suis un peu déçue. Je ne sais pas si c'est l'organisme en particulier ou s'ils font tous exactement comme ça, mais ça ne vaut vraiment pas le coup. Le bateau est trèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèèès lent, les îles sont éloignées les unes des autres, et du coup, on passe plus de temps sur le bateau que sur les îles, et on ne fait pas grand chose sur les îles... Je vous en dirai plus quand je pourrai écrire plus, mais je pense que ça ne vaut pas le coup de faire les tours "Full Day", qu'il vaut mieux préférer les tours "2 jours / 1 nuit", pendant lesquels on dort dans une famille, et on peut donc interagir et partager plus avec la population locale, et pas juste être des porte-feuilles ambulants. On ne se méprend pas : je savais que j'allais être un porte-feuille ambulant pendant le tour d'une journée, vu le programme, mais j'espérais un peu plus, notamment sur l'île de Taquile où on n'a en fait rencontré PERSONNE. Sur les îles flottantes Uros, on peut au moins essayer de discuter avec les habitants, en plus de la description du guide sur "Comment on fait ces îles ?"... En tous cas, c'est possible. Sur Taquile, on accoste, on monte au restaurant, on repart par un autre chemin, en croisant des vendeuses ambulantes de cochonneries, et on embarque pour 3h de navigation retour vers Puno.
Enfin bref, je vous détaillerai tout ça la prochaine fois. En attendant, je pense qu'il vaut mieux prendre le temps de passer 1 nuit sur une île si on veut y aller (notamment Amantani), et sinon, pas la peine : préférer les environs de Puno comme décrits dans les guides : apparemment, il y a un village de pêcheurs à l'est qui mérite un peu le détour, et une presqu'île à l'ouest qui offre de beaux panoramas sur le lac ; les 2 formant l'espèce de pince de crabe de la baie de Puno.

Something quick again cause i'm in a bar with wi-fi and not in our room...
We went on the lake Titicaca and its islands today : Uros islands and Taquile... I'm a little bit disappointed. I don't know if it's the agency or if they all do the same, but it's really not worth it. The boat is sooooooooooooo slow, the islands are far from the others, so you spend more time on the boat than on the islands, and don't do much on the islands... I'll tell you more when i can write more, but i think Full Day tours are not worth it, and you should prefer 2 Days / 1 Night tours, in which you sleep on an island in a family, and you get to interact and exchange more with the locals, and not just be walking-wallets. I mean : i knew i would be a walking-wallet during the Full Day tour, given the programm, but i was expecting a bit more, especially on the Taquile island where we actually met NO ONE. On the floating islands Uros, you can at least try and chat with locals, in addition to the "How do we make these islands ?" tutorial by the guide... Well, it's possible. On Taquile, we arrive, go to the restaurant, leave the restaurant, walk by some cheapy shits peddlers, and board for a 3 hour-long boat ride back to Puno.
Anyway, i'll go into details next time. But right now, i think it's better to spend 1 night on the island if you consider going there (Amantani), and if not, don't bother going : visit Puno's area like the travel guides say : apparently, there's a fishermen village on the eastside of Puno that seems to be worth it, and a peninsula on the westside with beautiful views on the lake ; both forming the the crab's pincer that is Puno bay.
